| Find yourself watching too much Discovery Channel? Catching all the Biker-Build-off re-runs? Me, too. I've decided RCC needed to build a bike. I kept adding pictures to this page as it progressed. I have cut a lot of skulls, flames, etches, license plate trims, heat shields, brackets, etc. for everyone else's ride, and felt like doing one for myself. I figure on using all of the shop's equipment + my waterjet art skills to create a custom bike. | |
|
As of October 2008, this bike is FOR SALE. If interested, please email me. It has 19 miles on it. |

Went with a 250 on the rear this time. Would like to build
another one sometime with a 300, but that's down the road. |
|
I bought a 96" S & S for the powerplant. Sept. 2005. |
Tires and rims mounted. October 2005. |
The bike sat for about a year and a half, then I started working on it again in June of 2007. |
Here it is with a Jesse James tank, the 3" belt drive, and fenders. |
After getting the seat on. |
I designed and cut custom brake rotors in the style of sawblades. |
A custom design for the air cleaner was made. Ground Shaker pipes added. |
The frame during painting. |
After paint, it was ready to put the custom oil tank, the 6 speed transmission, and wire it. |
I built a skeleton with individual pieces for arms, legs, etc., out of stainless, and hung him off the gas tank/frame to look like he was falling off the bike. |
I sent all the stainless parts off to be polished and then put them back on the bike. |
I got it together and it started right off after a little adjusting in the carb. I took it for about an 8 mile ride in late October of 2007. |
The weather got cold, so I parked it and let it sit over winter. I entered it in a car/bike show in the spring of 2008, and it got a lot of pictures taken of it. I listed it on Ebay for sale in Aug. of 2008. |
Here's a picture of a friend of mine sitting on the chopper after it was completed. |
A picture of the bike at the show. April 2008. |
I had a lot of interest in the bike, and I had probably 200 + pictures of it taken. |
